Understanding the Latest Updates to Nectar’s ELAP Export Report

We’ve made a few important updates to the ELAP Export Report in Nectar to provide clearer visibility into hive inventories and movements over time.

Here’s what’s new:

1. “Inventory Prior to Addition/Reduction” Column

This new column shows your starting hive inventory for each county or yard at the beginning of the selected date range.

  • For example, if you pull a report for October 1–October 31, this column will show the hive count at the start of the day on October 1.

2. “Current Inventory (End of Period)” Column

This column displays your ending hive inventory for each county or yard at the end of the reporting period.

  • Using the same example, a report for October 1–October 31 will show hive counts at the end of the day on October 31.

✔️Together with the “Inventory Prior to Addition/Reduction” column, this gives you a clear before-and-after snapshot of your hive inventory for any given period.

3. New “Movement Summary” Tab

We’ve added a brand-new Movement Summary tab to the ELAP Export Report. This tab provides a detailed log of all hive movements recorded during the selected period.
Each record includes:

  • Origin and destination yard, county, and state

  • Date of movement

  • Number of colonies moved

This detailed tracking makes it easy to audit hive transfers and validate your records.

💡 Tip: The Movement Summary tab can also be used to support other reporting requirements, such as BeeWhere submissions.
