Updated over a month ago

The app makes it simple for workers to find the right location in the field. With built-in mapping, you can open directions directly from a yard tile and get turn-by-turn navigation through google maps.

Step 1 – Locate the Yard in the Map

  • From the home screen you have three (3) ways to locate a yard:

    • Pan and zoom in/out on the map to find the yard.

    • Scroll through the yard tiles at the bottom of the screen.

    • Use the Search Yard bar to search by name

Step 2 - Selecting Directions

Zooming In/Out On the Map

  • Zoom in/out on the map to locate the desired yard.

  • When the yard is in view, click on to the location marker for that yard.

  • This will pull the corresponding yard tile into view at the bottom of your screen.

  • Tap the 3-dot menu on the yard tile.

  • Select View on map.

  • This will open your devices default mapping app.

From the Yard Tile:

  • Scroll through the yard tiles at the bottom of the screen to find the desired yard.

  • Tap the 3-dot menu on the yard tile.

  • Select View on map.

  • This will open your devices default mapping app.

From the Search Yard Bar

  • Click on the Search yard bar at the top of your screen.

  • Select from the populated list of yards, or type the yard name into the bar to eliminate scrolling.

  • In the yard page, click on the get directions icon on the upper right-side of the screen.

  • This will open your devices default mapping app.

Step 3 - Start Navigation

From the google maps application, you will have two options to start the navigation:

  • Directions - Enter your starting location. Once entered, select Start.

  • Start - The route will be pre-populated with your location.

Tips and Tricks

  • Use Yard Search
Use the search bar in Yard Map to quickly find a yard by name instead of scrolling.

  • Offline Prep
If you’re heading into a remote area, open the directions while you still have service. Many map apps will cache the route so you can still navigate offline.

  • Check Yard Details
From the yard tile, tap to open full yard details. This can give you context (like hive count, yard type, last treatment/feeding etc.) before you head out.
