In the app, you can inspect a yard and log any beekeeping practices that were applied to all hives within that yard or only to specific ones. Note that you do not have to be physically present in a yard in order to document feedings, treatments, and other activities that have taken place there. Here's how to report on your yard.
Step 1 - On the home page, select the "+" icon.
Step 2 - Select yard inspection
Step 3 - Select the yard
Select the yard by searching for the yard in the search bar (A) or by swiping through yards on the bottom of the screen and selecting INSPECT (B).
Step 4 - Log beekeeping practices
The report will automatically apply to all hives in the yard, but you can click the bolded and underlined text "Apply to all [#] hives" and then uncheck any boxes for hives that you would like to leave out of the report.
The Nectar app will automatically exclude deadouts from inspections, but this means that you will need to mark any deadouts in a yard before you record treatments or feedings.
Once you've made sure you've included the hives you want in your report, select the beekeeping practices you've applied to all hives or the yard, and then click NEXT.
Step 5 - Submit inspection
Verify that all the practices are correct then hit SUBMIT.
