When should I record hive location?
Whenever you place hives in a new location, you should record the location of all of the hives. This will ensure:
The automatically created yard will contain all hive IDs present, thus yard reports will be assigned to each hive present at the yard.
Similarly, whenever a new hive is created, you must record the location. This will ensure:
The hive will be added to your operation in the BeeTrack system.
You will be able to select if the hive is being added to an existing yard, or being added to a new yard that will be created upon scanning the hive.
Why is it important to mark the location?
You will never lose track of a hives historic or present location;
You will be able to track your beekeeping practices throughout the seasons.
