Assigning a new yard to an existing contract transforms the yard into a drop. To do this, follow these steps:
To use a contract in the application, it must first be created by your manager in their portal.
Step 1 - On the homepage, select the orange + icon
Step 2 - Select Add hives
Step 3 - Select new yard
Step 4 - Name your yard
Name your yard by clicking on the text field.
Step 5 - Assign the yard to an orchard
To assign your newly created yard to an orchard, select the desired orchard from the list or use the search bar to locate it.
ℹ️ Orchards that are the closest to you will show first in the list.
Once you have selected the orchard, click continue on the modal.
Assigning a yard to a contract transforms it into a drop, with its name changed to align with drop naming conventions.
Then click the next button.
Step 5 - Start scanning hives
You can scan multiple hives in a drop before selecting NEXT.

Step 6 - Review the drop summary
Review New hives in green to ensure you scanned all the hives. Select submit when ready to create the drop.
