In BeeTrack, deleting yards is essential to maintain an updated yard list. We strongly recommend that once you have finished with a yard and have no plans to re-scan hives at that location, you should simply delete it from the portal. This helps ensure the accuracy and relevance of your yard list.
Single yard deletion
Step 1 - Ensure that your yard is inactive
To delete a yard from your operation, it's important that the yard is first cleared out of all hives, and it should be marked as inactive. Click here to learn how to clear out yards.
You can see the status of your hive from the whiteboard (A) or directly on your yard page (B).
Step 2 - Delete yard
You can delete a yard from the whiteboard (A) or directly from the yard page (B).
Step 3 - Click delete
If the yard is still marked as active, you will need to clear out the yard first. Click here to learn how to clear out a yard of it's hives.
Multiple yards deletion
Step 1 - Select yards
Select all the yards you wish to delete by using the multi selection tool on the whiteboard.
Step 2 - Select the option 'delete yards'
You can only delete yards that are marked as inactive. If you have selected any active yards, they will be ignored and not deleted.
