As a manager, you have the ability to create drops directly from the orchard page on the app. This feature enables you to create drops while on the field, without having to use your computer. By streamlining the process and eliminating the need for a computer, you can easily create drops from anywhere, saving time and improving productivity. If you wish to create drops from the app follow these steps:
To create a drop within a contract using the app, you must first create the contract in the portal
Step 1 - Go to the orchard page
If you want to quickly navigate to the orchard page on the app, the search bar on the homepage provides the fastest route.
From there, you can search by orchard name or find nearby orchards listed under Yards & orchards close to you. Orchards are represented by an icon of a tree.
Step 2 - Create drop
On the orchard page, you can create a new drop by selecting the Create new drop button.
After selecting Create new drop on the orchard page, you can enter the number of expected hives and click Create. Keep in mind that you can always adjust the number of expected hives later in your portal.
When creating drops from the orchard page on the app, it's important to note that drops will be created at your GPS location. However, you can always adjust their location later in your portal.
